Sileo Takes Afternoons @ FOX Sports Phoenix

• Yesterday we told you iHeartMedia Sports-Talk KGME-AM (FOX Sports 910)/Phoenix was moving The Drive with Jody Oehler from afternoons to mornings, beginning September 3. Now comes word that Sports-Talk veteran Dan Sileo has been inked to fill Oehler’s former pm drive shift — the cleverly named Dan Sileo Show will roll weekdays from 4-7pm, also starting Sept. 3.

“Sileo’s unparalleled passion and enthusiasm for Sports-Talk make him the perfect host for afternoon drive on FOX Sports 910,” said Aaron Trimmer, PD of Fox Sports 910. “We’re thrilled to have one of the country’s best hosts join our market-leading program lineup.”

Sileo is a former college football star-turned-pro football player who made the successful transition to radio over 20 years ago, working in San Francisco, Tampa, Miami and most recently, San Diego, where he worked at the now defunct XEPRS-AM (The Mighty 1090) and Entercom Sports-Talk KWFN (97.3 The Fan).
