Tailor-Made For Television

• Back in December, shortly after the Entercom/CBS Radio merger, we reported that Ellen Tailor had exited middays at Entercom Country KKWF (100.7 The Wolf)/Seattle after a six-year run. Earlier in her career Tailor co-hosted Gravy In The Morning, which was simulcast on Cumulus Top 40 duo WHTS (105.3 Hot FM)/Grand Rapids and WJIM (97.5 Now)/Lansing, MI.

We are pleased to report that Ms. Tailor has not only been able to remain in her beloved Seattle, but she is once again gainfully employed — this time in television. Tailor is joining Tribune’s KCPQ-TV (Q13 FOX) as Features Reporter for Q13 News This Morning.

As an elated Tailor told RAMP, “I wasn’t done with Seattle, and luckily, Seattle wasn’t done with me. I’m waking up the great Northwest weekday mornings again… but now on TV! I went to school to be on television and accidentally wound up in radio. What an incredible 10 years it’s been, but the opportunity to grow my skill set was too tempting to turn down.”

RAMP also reached out to Tailor’s new boss, Erica Hill, News Director of Q13 FOX, who told us exclusively, “We are thrilled to be working with the talented Ellen Tailor. Ellen is real, relatable and we’re looking forward to showcasing her local feature content and great personality on our top rated morning show.”
