Tamo Expands Her Influence

• iHeartMedia yesterday announced that Tamo Sein would assume command of the noon-3pm shifts on KLLT (ALT 104.9)/St. Louis and KDXA (ALT 106.3)/Des Moines, effective immediately. Ms. Sein’s new air shifts will augment her brand new gig as APD/MD/midday personality at iHeartMedia Alternative WEND (106.5 The End)/Charlotte, where she started a few weeks ago. She was previously MD/afternoon talent at Alternative sister WRXL (XL102)/Richmond.

Tamo will report to Dustin Fletcher, Director of Alternative Rock Programming for iHeartMedia’s St. Louis Region and A.J., SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia’s St. Louis Region. “No one can connect with an audience quite like Tamo,” said Fletcher. “Her unique perspective and creativity make her a superstar on and off the air. Plus, we needed 25 percent more crazy, so she was our obvious first call.” Tamo said, “I hereby vow to keep a steady stream of complaint calls and emails funneled to Fletcher. Seriously, this is so exciting!”
