The Bone Is Back In Blakk

• Cumulus Classic Rock KSAN (107.7 The Bone)/San Francisco has inked station veteran Nikki Blakk as its new afternoon drive personality.

It’s the perfect radio homecoming for Blakk, a Bay Area native who started her radio career as an intern at The Bone while attending San Francisco State University. She went on to work at KMRQ (Rock 96.7)/Modesto, CA, the late KSJO/San Jose, the former KXFX (101.7 The Fox)/Santa Rosa, CA, and returned to The Bone for another decade until 2015, when her career took her into the concert and touring side, most recently as Jackson Browne‘s Road Manager.

Chasta Michaelis, PD of 107.7 The Bone, said, “Nikki has a long and important history with KSAN, spending 10 years at the station previously. I’m confident she will bring a great deal of experience, knowledge, passion, and familiarity to The Bonehead family. We are very excited about the future with Nikki Blakk back at The Bone.”

Blakk commented, “When I left radio in 2015, it was always my intention to return. I had intended to do it sooner, but better late than never! I’m looking forward to reuniting with my Bonehead Family and coming home to where it all began and where I belong, 107.7 The Bone.”
