Tommy & Brook Ride Again!

• Longtime Grand Rapids radio vets Tommy Dylan and Brook Taylor, best known for their decade-long stint in mornings on iHeartMedia AC WSRW (Star 105.7), are back together, this time in mornings across the street at Lanser Broadcasting Contemporary Christian WJQK (JQ99.3).

Tommy and Brook first joined forces on the radio in 2004 on Christian AC WCSG/Grand Rapids. In December 2007, they were recruited by Star 105.7, where they reigned together until May 1, 2017, when Brook was caught up in a corporate downsizing. Shortly thereafter, Tommy resigned to do more ministry work with his church and Winning At Home Ministries.

The move marks a triumphant return to JQ99.3 for Dylan, who worked there prior to his teaming up with Ms. Taylor. As Brook related to RAMP, “Apparently JQ had been trying to get Tommy to come back ever since he left. Eventually, talks turned to possibly bringing Tommy and Brook to JQ99 — and here we are!” The news of the duo’s radio return was considered so important in the community, it was prominently covered by “a local TV station.”
