WCDX Inks DJ Sir RJ

• Radio One Richmond is proud to announce that market vet DJ Sir RJ has joined the night show on Urban WCDX (iPower 92.1/104.1). He started Wednesday night, joining forces with current WCDX on-air personality Brittany (BLU) Uzzell to create the DJ Sir RJ & BLU Show, weeknights from 7-midnight.

DJ Sir RJ, a.k.a. Richie Savage joins Radio One after crossing the street from Entercom Richmond. Born and raised in Richmond, RJ is already a longtime local radio pro, having started his career at the age of 14. Over the last few years, RJ has been the No. 1 night DJ in the Richmond market and currently DJs in several clubs throughout the state.

OM Matt Myers said, “We are excited to welcome RJ back to the WCDX family. He has dominated the market in ratings over the last few years and we are looking forward to having him on our already talented roster.” RJ exclaimed, “I’m glad to be back home and thrilled about the future with iPower.
