• Albany Broadcasting Rhythmic WAJZ (JAMZ 96.3)/Albany, NY keeps it in the family and promotes Alexandra “Ayeeedubb” Wurst from nights to mornings, starting Monday, November 4. She fills the vacancy created by the October departure of “Billy The Kid.”
The move marks a rapid rise for Ayeeedubb, who joined JAMZ 96.3 in late May after a year doing nights at Mid-West Family Broadcasting Top 40 WQLQ (Live 99.9)/South Bend, IN. Before that she worked at Urban WGIV (StreetZ 103.3/100.5)/Charlotte.
In making the announcement, OM/PD Jon Reilly said, “Ayeeedubb has done an amazing job for us since her arrival in May, and we could not be more excited about her moving to mornings on JAMZ! Ayeeedubb has great energy and enthusiasm and we are looking forward to her fresh and unique sound in Mornings on JAMZ 96.3.”
Concurrent with Ms. Ayeeedubb’s upgrade, WAJZ is now looking for a new night show personality.
