Zeoli’s Alarm Set For Zero-Dark Thirty
• Entercom’s WPHT-AM (Talk Radio 1210)/Philadelphia is making a major drivetime adjustment, moving Rich Zeoli from afternoons to mornings. The Rich Zeoli Show will air weekdays from 5:30-9am ET, beginning May 13. He succeeds Chris Stigall, who had occupied the shift since 2010 and left last month at the end of his contract.
“Rich is a compelling and thought-provoking radio host and we’re looking forward to seeing him shine in the mornings on WPHT,” said David Yadgaroff, SVP/Market Manager, Entercom Philadelphia. “From interviewing the President to covering what’s hot in pop culture or entertainment, to Rich’s passion for recognizing local police officers, his funny and poignant style always shines a light on what everyone is talking about.”
Zeoli said, “For years I have had one simple goal: to blend information and humor to make entertaining talk radio. Moving to mornings is an honor and a challenge and I’m thrilled that my team will be moving with me. I’m grateful to David Field and David Yadgaroff for entrusting me to take this heritage radio station to… the next level™. I’m enormously grateful to the most loyal audience in talk radio and together we will make The Rich Zeoli Show the new destination for Philadelphia listeners to start the day with information, humor, and the biggest names in politics.”
Zeoli joined Entercom in 2010 and has been doing afternoons on WPHT since 2015. Zeoli is also the founder of RZC Impact, a communications firm specializing in media training, public speaking, and strategy, and the author of The Seven Principles of Public Speaking: Proven Methods of a PR Pro.
