2021 Top-Billing Stations & Owners

• BIA released its annual list of the top-billing radio stations and owners, and in a non-surprising turn of events, Hubbard News-Talk monster WTOP-FM/Washington, DC continues to hold on to the top spot it has occupied since 2014 with revenue of $70 million in 2021, up 12.9% from $62 million in 2020. iHeartMedia Top 40 KIIS-FM/Los Angeles holds onto the #2 spot with $43 million in revenue, followed by AC sister WLTW/New York at $34.6 million, which remains at #3. Audacy News-Talk WBBM-AM/Chicago moves up one spot to #4 ($34 million), followed by Beasley Sports-Talk WBZ-FM/Boston at #5 with $33.4 million. iHeartMedia Top 40 WHTZ/New York moves up to the #6 spot with $33 million, closely followed by Hot AC sister KBIG/Los Angeles with $32.3 million. Three Audacy New York City stations round put the Top Ten, with All-News WINS-AM at $31.6 million, Sports-Talk WFAN with $31.5 million and All-News WCBS-AM with $30.9 million.

BIA also ranked the Top 10 radio owners by revenue (000): 1) iHeartMedia: $2,208,975 (865 stations); 2) Audacy: $1,345,650 (231 stations); 3) Cumulus Media Holdings, Inc.: $481,050 (407 stations); 4) Hubbard Radio LLC: $252,325 (54 stations); 5) TelevisaUnivision: $245,825 (57 stations); 6) Beasley Media Group: $241,175 (63 stations); 7) Townsquare Media, Inc.: $212,000 (321 stations); 8) Cox Media Group, Inc.: $210,800 (54 stations); 9) Urban One, Inc.: $196,200 53 stations); 10) Bonneville International Corp.: $145,325 (22 stations).
