Bay Area’s Drutz To Run Alpha San Jose

• Alpha Media has tapped Bay Area radio exec David Drutz as the new VP/Market Manager of its San Jose group — Classic Hits KBAY and Hot AC KEZR (Mix 106).

Drutz makes the relatively short commute (traffic permitting) to the South Bay from Cumulus Sports-Talk KNBR/San Francisco, where he has served as VP of Sales for the past nine years.

“Just ‘the announcement’ of David’s transition to Alpha’s San Jose operation brought excitement and interest from advertisers and members of the media across the Bay Area,” said Larry Bastida, Alpha Media’s Chief Operating Officer. “And, as anticipated, David has quickly moved to enhance the culture and our productivity.”
