• Results Radio has acquired the talents of two veteran broadcast executives to oversee its four-station cluster in Chico, CA — major market veteran Mike Anthony has been named as Market Manager for Top 40 KCEZ (Power 102), Adult Hits KBQB (92.7 Bob-FM), Active Rock KRQR (106.7 ZRock) and Classic Rock KTHU (Thunder 100.7), and Carlos Casarez will double as Director of Local/Regional Sales for the Chico cluster and National Sales Manager for Results Radio’s 13 stations.
Anthony (left) brings a programming background to his new management position — for the past three years he served as Operations Manager of Cumulus Media’s KNBR, KGO, KSAN, KSFO, KFOG and KTCT/San Francisco. He was previously GM of Empire Broadcasting’s KLIV/San Jose, and he spent 11 years with Mapleton Communications as corporate SVP of Programming and Market Manager for Mapleton’s Monterey, CA cluster.
Casarez (right) transitions from Chico-Redding, CA television broadcaster Bonten Media Group, which was recently purchased by Sinclair. His broadcast career began in Spokane, WA and he has since worked in both radio and television. He left the media industry in 2000 to operate a business in Arcata, CA for 12 years before returning to broadcast sales and management in 2013.
