CMG Adds Clay, Ups Halliwell
• Cox Media Group announced two executive appointments: 1) Andrea Clay joins the company as National Sales Manager for CMG Radio, and 2) Wes Halliwell has been elevated to Integrated Sales Manager for CMG Orlando Radio.
Ms. Clay (left) brings over 10 years of media industry experience, most recently as National Sales Manager at Beasley Media Group. She previously worked for CBS Radio before joining Beasley in 2014.
As CMG National Sales Manager, Clay will be responsible for working with clients and delivering revenue growth in the Atlanta, Athens, GA and Jacksonville markets. She now reports to Jodi Rainey, CMG VP of National Sales, who said, “We are thrilled to have Andrea join our team. Her expertise and leadership will be instrumental in driving growth and innovation across our national sales efforts.” Clay commented, “I’m honored to join the team at CMG and look forward to contributing to the company’s continued success. I’m excited to work with CMG’s talented national sales team and partner to deliver results for our clients.”
Wes Halliwell (right) has been an integral part of the CMG team for over two decades, starting as promotion intern and working his way up to Promotions and Marketing Director for multiple stations and he oversaw the Cox Events Group for several years. He was most recently Digital Media Director for the CMG Orlando — Classic Hits 98.9 WMMO, Country WWKA (K92.3), Urban AC WCFB (Star 94.5), News-Talk WDBO-FM/AM, & Spanish Pop WOEX (Éxitos 96.5).
In his new role, Halliwell reports to Ashley Williams, Director of Sales, CMG Orlando Radio, who said, “I’m thrilled to have Wes move into this new role. He has a deep level of trust and respect with our team and clients. His experience and knowledge will push our team to make us better!”
Halliwell remarked, “I’m extremely excited for the opportunity to work with our sales team, clients, and partners in this new role. We have developed a tremendous team culture here at CMG Orlando and I couldn’t be more blessed to continue my career growth within our CMG family.”
