ESPN 1000/Chicago Goes Rogue — Twice

• Good Karma Brands’ Sports-Talk WMVP-AM (ESPN 1000), “Chicago’s Home for the White Sox,” and Nissan are excited to award two lucky fans each with their own 2021 Nissan Rogue — part of the “Nissan No-Hitter Contest.” Both ESPN 1000 fans, Matthew from Orland Park and Steve from Lisle, were notified on the air last Friday during the Carmen and Jurko show, following White Sox pitcher Carlos Rodon‘s historic no-hitter on Wednesday night. Here’s how it worked: at the beginning of the season, ESPN 1000 fans were invited to enter a contest to win a brand new Nissan if a White Sox pitcher threw a no-hitter during the 2021 regular season. Due to the rainout of Saturday’s White Sox-Royals game, two fans were eligible to win the car.

ESPN Chicago Market Manager Mike Thomas commented, “Nissan is a powerhouse brand as well as a great partner of ours, and the White Sox have some powerhouse pitching. This No Hitter will go down in history and now two lucky ESPN 1000 fans will think about it every time they get in their new vehicles.”

Anthony LaMantia, Regional Sales & Marketing Manager with the Nissan Midwest Region, said, “The Midwest Region is thrilled to have not only one but two winners for our very first Nissan No-Hitter! The all-new 2021 Rogue is packed with segment-leading content and is sure to turn heads! Congratulations to Matthew and Steve, enjoy your all-new Nissan Rogues and welcome to the Nissan family!” Fans still have the opportunity to win one more car this season if the White Sox throw another no hitter!
