• Meruelo Media, owners of KPWR (Power 106) & KDAY/Los Angeles and KDEY/Riverside has hired George Herrera as Local Sales Manager. Herrera crosses the street from Entercom’s World Famous KROQ, where he spent the past nine years as an Account Manager.

Herrera reports to David Criscitelli, Meruelo VP of Audio Solutions, who said, “This hire was personal for me because I was putting someone in the job I held and loved for eight years. George was the only person I wanted in the role. He was the most talented person in the room when I taught his SCBU class and I’ve watched him grow into one of the most highly regarded people in radio. I have complete confidence in George’s ability to lead our team to extraordinary things for Meruelo’s current and future clients.”
