Executive Action: Vox AM/FM/Digital
• Vermont-based Vox AM/FM/Digital announced several changes to its management structure, starting with the elevation of 16-year company veteran David Goddette to VP/GM, succeeding John Mullett, who recently joined National Life Group as Director of Community Relations and Executive Director of the National Life Group Foundation.
Goddette is a Vermont native who has worked in sales and management in various capacities over the last 25 years, most recently as VP/Director of Sales for VOX.
Filling the sales management role is Tim Dodd, who rejoins Vox as General Sales Manager. Dodd has a long career in both broadcasting and medical sales management, on-air radio & TV along with direct sales. His arrival marks a return to Vox, as he originally worked for WEZF in the late ’90s. Dodd will now oversee all the company’s sales and digital efforts.
And there’s more — Spencer Lieberman is promoted to Local Sales Manager, focusing on the revenue and account representatives for 92.1 WVTK and Addison County, and Steve Bassett annexes the duties of Administrative Office Manager in addition to all business and traffic functions for the cluster.
And, as we reported last month, Vox welcomed local entrepreneur and online influencer Mel B to do middays on 95 Triple X. Pictured, (l-r): Goddette, Dodd, Lieberman, Bassett and Mel B.
• Vox AM/FM Digital owns AC WEZF (Star 92.9), Top 40 WXXX (95 Triple X), Classic Hits 92.1 WVTK, Country WCPV (101.3 The Wolf), Oldies WXZO (96.7 MeTV FM), News-Talk 620 WVMT, and Sports-Talk WEAV-AM (The Game).
