Hanlon Named DOS, Saga Des Moines

• Saga Communications’ Des Moines Radio Group has tapped veteran broadcast executive Matt Hanlon as Director of Sales for the company’s operations in Des Moines and Mitchell, SD.

Hanlon most recently served as SVP/Market Manager for Audacy/Entercom Charlotte from 2016-2021. He notably served as President of Citadel Broadcasting from 2001-2011, managing the Midwest region of 85 radio stations across 14 markets. He began his career in broadcasting as a media buyer for Backer & Spielvogel, and later served as VP of Stations at Katz Media Group and VP/Director of Sales at AMFM.
