Hyland, Preacher Earn DC Upgrades
• iHeartMedia has named Aaron Hyland as Region President for the company’s Washington D.C. and Baltimore markets, effective immediately. He succeeds Mike Preacher, who has been named President for Government Initiatives & Partnerships for iHeartMedia Markets Group.
Hyland (left) most recently served as Region SVP of Sales and Market President for iHeartMedia D.C./Baltimore. He began his career as Local Sales Manager for iHeartMedia Albany-Schenectady-Troy, NY. In his newly enhanced position Hyland will work with the programming, business and sales teams for all ten station brands in Washington D.C. and Baltimore, reporting to Kevin LeGrett, President for iHeartMedia West Division.
In his new role, Preacher (right) will now be responsible for overseeing the growth of the company’s Government Initiatives and Partnerships Division. He reports to Greg Ashlock, President for iHeartMedia Markets Group, who commented, “With Aaron, we are fortunate to have someone so talented, experienced and knowledgeable of the area to make the natural progression to the role of Region President.
