McNiece Named DOS @ Radio One Indy
• Radio One Indianapolis has hired Denene McNiece as its new Director of Sales. McNiece is already well acquainted with the market, having spent the past decade across the street as General Sales Manager for Entercom’s group — WZPL, WNTR and WXNT. During her tenure WZPL was consistently the No.1-billing radio station in Indianapolis.
In making the announcement, Radio One Regional Vice President Deon Levingston stated, “I’m excited to have Denene lead our sales team in Indianapolis. Life is one big circle — Denene and I were Account Executives together for WTLC-AM & FM at the beginning of our careers. Radio One Indianapolis is the most diverse cluster in the market and Denene is the perfect person with her track record of success and experience to lead our team.”
McNiece remarked, “I couldn’t be more excited for the next chapter in my career with Radio One. I began my career many years ago with Deon and have a tremendous amount of respect for him and his leadership. I’m confident my many years in Indianapolis in management and business development will be a great fit with this leading company.”
The Radio One Indianapolis cluster includes Urban AC 106.7 WTLC, Urban WHHH (Hot 96.3), Top 40 WNOW (RadioNOW 100.9), Contemporary Christian WTLC-AM (1310/92.7 The Light), Regional Mexican La Grande 105.1 (WNOW-HD3) and Telemundo TV.
