Melissa Forrest Named VP/MM, Cumulus Atlanta
• Cumulus Media has appointed Melissa Forrest as the new Vice President/Market Manager for the Atlanta market, succeeding Sean Shannon. Forrest transitions from iHeartMedia San Diego, where she has served as Market President since 2012, and previously oversaw the Riverside, CA region from 2016-2018.
The move to Cumulus marks a return to Atlanta for Forrest, who served as Atlanta Market Manager for iHeartMedia/Clear Channel from 2008-2012. She earlier held VP/Market Manager duties for Entercom in Austin and Seattle from 2004-2008.

Forrest, who holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and earned a BSBA degree in Marketing & Management from the University of Missouri, commented, “I have embraced many markets during my career, but I look forward to returning home to Atlanta. The opportunity to work with Dave and the entire Cumulus Atlanta team makes this homecoming even more meaningful.”
