Morgan Upped To Area Pres., iHeart Upstate NY

• iHeartMedia has promoted Bob Morgan to Area President for the newly created Upstate New York Area, effective immediately. Morgan most recently served as Area President of iHeartMedia Western NY, and now absorbs additional oversight of the Albany & Poughkeepsie, NY and Sussex, NJ markets that had been the domain of Howard Greiner, former Area President of iHeartMedia Albany, who last week was named Metro President for iHeartMedia Nashville.

In his newly expanded role, Morgan will oversee all aspects of operations of 39+ stations across multiple platforms including broadcast, digital, mobile, social and live events for the Upstate New York Area. He will report to Division President Dan Lankford, who commented, “Bob has done an excellent job leading the West New York area for iHeartMedia the last five years. I’m excited to partner with Bob to integrate three additional markets into his area of oversight.”
