New Radio Talent Institute Added
• National Radio Talent System (NRTS), a division of the RAB announces a relaunch of the original Missouri Broadcasters Association (MBA) talent institute at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO, July 17-26, 2023, underwritten by Hubbard Radio and the MBA. This talent incubator spans ten days and is led by broadcast pros who bring their real-world industry knowledge from around the state and country to educate students.
College students from universities throughout the state and region apply to be accepted into the Hubbard/MBA Radio Talent Institute, which provides an ideal networking pool for students with a wide variety of potential interests within the classroom for industry professionals to identify and actively recruit from. Upon completion of the Institute, students can further their networking opportunities via the National Radio Talent System’s Career Center.
“We are delighted to have the Missouri Broadcasters Association back as a partner along with Hubbard Radio,” said Erica Farber, RAB President & CEO. “Collaborating with Mark Gordon at the MBA and a world-class broadcasting company like Hubbard Radio enables us to relaunch the program to further help develop the next generation of broadcasters.” Gordon, Pres./CEO of the Missouri Broadcasters Association, commented, “The MBA is proud to again be a sponsor of the Radio Talent Institute. I have seen firsthand how this program has helped students determine the direction they want to take in their future, and I wish something like this was available when I was in school!”
