Oliviero Upped To Market Pres., Audacy NYC
• UPDATED: Sending our most sincere best wishes to Chris Oliviero, SVP/Market Manager of Audacy New York, who has been elevated to Market President, NYC.
The news was delivered to the staff in a memo from Audacy COO Susan Larkin, which reads, “Please join me in congratulating our colleague Chris on his promotion from SVP/Market Manager to Market President NYC. For the last two years Chris has been successful leading and evolving Audacy’s largest revenue market. Chris returned to our company in June of 2020 in the heart of COVID and provided a vision and strategic plan for our NY team to leverage the strength of our incredible brands, people and influence for all around growth.”
Larkin added, “Our team and brands are thriving with a great roadmap for continued success. In addition, Chris has been an important thought leader for many of us and will continue to take an active role in a variety of strategic initiatives. Cheers to Chris!”
Oliviero’s extensive New York radio history includes 22 years with CBS Radio, rising to Executive Vice President of Programming, overseeing the company’s 117 music and talk stations in 26 markets. He was also an integral member of the senior management team that led Entercom’s 2017 merger with CBS Radio. He subsequently served as EVP of Programming for Entercom until leaving the company in July 2018. Oliviero returned to what is now Audacy in June 2020 as New York SVP/Market Manager, succeeding Larkin after her elevation to COO.
