Ready & Abel To Run CMG Atlanta Radio
• David Abel, VP/Market Manager of Cox Media Group San Antonio is transferring to CMG’s Radio HQ in Atlanta, effective Feb. 17. He will fill the vacancy created by the November resignation of former VP/Market Manager Jaleigh Long.

Abel joined CMG San Antonio in March 2019, returning to the company from Griffin Communications in Tulsa, where he served as VP/GM, and later, VP of Radio. He previously spent nearly five years with Apex Broadcasting in Charleston, SC as VP/GM and COO of New Point Digital. Abel earlier held sales management roles with Cox Radio in Greenville, SC, Orlando, and Birmingham, AL.

CMG Atlanta Radio includes News-Talk simulcast WSB-AM 750/WSBB-FM (95.5 WSB), AC WSB-FM (B98.5), Classic Rock WSRV (97.1 The River), and Urban AC WALR (Kiss 104.1).
