Schaflander Upped To VP/MM, Cumulus ATL
• Cumulus Atlanta promotes from within and elevates Justin Schaflander from VP of Sales to VP/Market Manager of the four-station group. He succeeds Melissa Forrest, who exited last week.
An Atlanta media veteran, Schaflander joined Cumulus Atlanta in January 2024, returning from Los Angeles after a two-year stint as Director of Sales for Good Karma Brands/ESPN Los Angeles. Prior to that, Schaflander spent 13 years with iHeartMedia, serving as Region President over Atlanta/Georgia markets, Market President, and VP of Sales for Atlanta.
Schaflander reports to Dave Milner, Cumulus President, Operations, who said, “Justin is a proven leader with deep roots in the Atlanta media landscape and a strong track record of driving results and developing high-performing teams. His passion for the business, strategic mindset, and commitment to our people and brands make him the ideal person to lead Cumulus Atlanta into its next chapter of growth.”
