Slater Enters Entercom Executive Suite

• Entercom has named Andy Slater as Senior Vice President of Digital Sales, East Coast. In this role, Slater will lead East Coast sales for RADIO.COM, and create end-to-end digital audio solutions for brands across podcasting, streaming, web, mobile and connected devices.

Slater joins Entercom from Midroll Media, the ad sales division of podcast platform Stitcher, where he was most recently Regional Vice President of Sales, East. His 25-plus-year career also includes sales roles at Orbitz.com, Realtor.com and Theatermania.com. Slater’s extensive radio background includes National Sales Manager positions for WFAN/New York, and WLIR, WBAB & WBLI/Long Island. He also served as Local Sales Manager for WQCD & WAXQ/New York.

Slater now reports to Ken Lagana, Executive Vice President of Digital Sales, who said, “Andy has a tremendous track record leading sales strategy across numerous digital platforms, most recently in podcasting. His unique combination of experience in broadcast radio and digital will prove to be a major asset as we continue developing and expanding our position as leaders in the digital audio marketplace.
