Ward Named GSM of Entercom Atlanta

• Entercom has named Emily Ward as General Sales Manager for Entercom Atlanta, overseeing sales efforts for WSTR (The New Star 94), WZGC (92.9 The Game), WVEE (V103) and WAOK-AM (News & Talk 1380).

Ms. Ward (left) earns the transfer and market upgrade from a similar position with Entercom Chattanooga, TN. She now reports to Rick Caffey, SVP/Market Manager of Entercom Atlanta, who commented, “In just a few years with the company, Emily has displayed a proven ability to lead sales initiatives and achieve substantial results. Her commitment to excellence puts her on a path to excel in her young career and we’re fortunate to welcome her and her talents to our Atlanta market.”

Ward joined Entercom in April 2018 as an Account Exec for Entercom Chattanooga. She was upped to Local Sales Manager in July 2019 and assumed the additional role of Digital Sales Manager in September 2019. Prior to joining the company, Ward was an AE for Cox Media Group Jacksonville.
