Wirthlin Named Market Pres., iHeart SLC

• iHeartMedia has elevated Joyce Wirthlin to Market President of its six-station Salt Lake City market.

Wirthlin has spent her entire media career in the Salt Lake City market, starting as Sr. AE with Citadel in 1993. She joined the former Clear Channel SLC as VP of Sales in 1998, and was promoted to SVP of Sales in 2021.

Wirthlin reports to Division President Nick Gnau, who remarked, “I’m very excited to have Joyce leading this team in Salt Lake City. Since the day I started working with Joyce, I was impressed with her leadership, the culture she has built with her team and the deep knowledge of the market. I have no doubt that she will propel this team to the next level!”
