Bay Area Gets Its Woody Back
• Stand by for the official quote-filled announcement, but The Woody Show is making its return to the Bay Area next Monday, this time on Cumulus Media’s KFOG — the first non-iHeartMedia station to pick up the Premiere-syndicated show.
The Woody Show broke their own news themselves last Friday via the majesty of Twitter, posting, “We are happy to announce that we will finally be making our return to Bay Area radio on Monday morning, April 30th, 5am – 10am M-F on @KFOGRadio! Please put it in your presets now – 104.5 SF and 97.7 SJ. Tag/tell a friend in the area! #weouthere.”
The Woody Show previously aired on KITS (Live 105)/San Francisco from early 2006 until April 2009. The cast members then went their separate ways for a while — Woody and Renae Ravey did mornings on Emmis Alternative KPNT (105.7 The Point)/St. Louis, while Menace and Greg Gory each anchored separate radio shows in San Francisco before the crew reassembled in April 2014 at their current flagship, iHeartMedia Alternative KYSR (ALT 98.7)/Los Angeles.
