• iHeartMedia Top 40 WVKS (92.5 Kiss FM)/Toledo announced the impending debut of the syndicated Mojo in the Morning show, effective June 19. Mojo in the Morning will air weekdays from 5-10am from its flagship, sister WKQI (Channel 955)/Detroit. “I’ve personally been a longtime fan of Mojo in the Morning, and we’re excited to expand his show to 92.5 Kiss FM,” said Scott Sands, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Toledo. “This show is fun, engaging and will provide a daily blend of entertainment not currently heard on the radio in Toledo.”
• Concurrent with this announcement comes the flip side of the radio coin — RAMP has confirmed that two thirds of the current Kiss morning show — Eric Chase and Demetrius Nicodemus have exited. Meaghan Mick remains aboard and will become the local cast member for Mojo in the Morning. She will continue to do middays on Country WCKY/Toledo and WBCT (B93)/Grand Rapids, MI.
• The Tom Kent Radio Network is proud to announce affiliation with three more great radio stations — Tom Kent’s Totally ’90s Now! is on the air at Wallingford Broadcasting Top 40 WLFX/Lexington, KY every Sunday from 10am-3pm, and on Neuhoff Communication Top 40 WXAJ/Springfield, IL Saturdays from 5-10am. Pamal Broadcasting’s WJJR/Burlington, VT has picked up Lovin’ Life, Livin’ the ’80s weekdays from noon-1pm.
