Sun & Shazam Re-Up
Sun Broadcast Group and Shazam have entered into a multi-year contract extension to continue their exclusive Shazam for Radio platform. The service allows programming and advertising content on radio stations to be recognized by the Shazam app, launching rich, interactive experiences in real time on mobile devices. National brands and stations have been using Shazam for Radio for the past two years and the service is now widely available to nearly 1,000 stations across America as well as by syndicated shows including The Hit List with Fitz, The Fitz Show, Little Steven’s Underground Garage and Slacker and Steve.
