The Bert Show Adds Abby Murphy
• The Westwood One-syndicated The Bert Show, based at Cumulus Top 40 WWWQ (Q99.7)/Atlanta formally introduced Abby Murphy as its new co-host — and fourth voice, joining host Bert Weiss and co-hosts Kristin Klingshirn and Moe Mitchell.
A self-proclaimed “hot mess,” Murphy is 20-something Florida native who most recently hosted mornings at CMG AC WEZI (Easy 102.9)/Jacksonville. She’s also “a diehard Gator fan” and the host of the popular relationship podcast, The Break Up Break Down.
“At The Bert Show, we’re a group of friends who love what we do — making listeners laugh with our always candid, sometimes uncomfortable, conversations about topics you want to hear before having to pump the brakes and enter the real world,” said host Bert Weiss. “When looking for a fourth co-host who would bring the level of energy and enthusiasm our listeners have come to love and expect, Abby was a no-brainer with her easy-going nature, can-do attitude and hilarious views on the world around us.”
Louie Diaz, who doubles as Q99.7 PD and Cumulus VP of Contemporary Formats, commented, “After an extensive nationwide search, we are excited to welcome Abby to the Bert Show family!” Read all about Abby in her own words, here, and follow her on Instagram, TikTok and Twitter @theabbymurphy.
