What’s Behind That Xmas Song?
• ‘Tis the season! And the Benztown Brigade wants to share their love of Christmas music, great behind-the-song stories, and audio imaging with their friends in Radio! Behind the Song: Top 10 Christmas Singles is a 30-second audio documentary series that highlights the stories behind each of the 10 most-played Christmas songs from the 2016 holiday season. Inspired by P1 Media Group‘s recent survey revealing how Americans 25-54 rate the 40 most-played Christmas songs from the 2016 holiday season, Benztown created this fun and festive new holiday feature for music radio stations and their Christmas-music loving listeners.
Songs profiled in this series include: “Jingle Bell Rock” by Bobby Helms, the top-testing Christmas song for 2017 per P1’s survey, plus Brenda Lee‘s “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree,” Andy Williams‘ “The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year” and Burl Ives‘ perennial favorite, “Holly Jolly Christmas,” among other Top 10 Christmas favorites.
