KDAY + Raiders Still In Love
Meruelo Media Classic Hip Hop 93.5 KDAY/Los Angeles will continue to be the exclusive FM home of the Oakland Raiders in the Los Angeles metro. KDAY will broadcast coverage of the Raiders’ regular and post-season games as well as exclusive Raiders content and coverage. “93.5 KDAY is the perfect home for the Raiders in Los Angeles,” said KDAY PD Adrian “A.D.” Scott. “Hip Hop fans are the most passionate Raiders’ fans in Southern California and we are thrilled to continue to be the exclusive FM radio station delivering the Oakland Raiders.”
Greg Papa, the voice of the Oakland Raiders, will again team with former Raiders quarterback, head coach and assistant coach Tom Flores. On the sidelines, joining the broadcast is Raiders former Pro Bowl tackle, Lincoln Kennedy. Compass Media Networks is once again responsible for all aspects of the broadcasts of all Oakland Raiders preseason, regular season, and postseason games on terrestrial radio. The Raiders plan to relocate to Las Vegas in 2020 in a new 65,000-seat domed stadium located near the Las Vegas Strip.
In a triumph of corporate synergy, The Meruelo Group, which owns KDAY, KPWR (Power 106)/Los Angeles, KDEY/Riverside and the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino in Reno, recently announced the acquisition of the SLS Resort & Casino on the Vegas strip, which seems really convenient.
