The results are in! Cumulus Top 40 WTNQ (93Q)/Syracuse, NY was recently named as the market’s “Best Radio Station,” and 93Q morning personalities Ted Long and Amy Robbins were chosen as “Favorite Radio Personalities” in the Syracuse New Times‘ annual “Best of Syracuse” readers poll. This marks 93Q’s second consecutive win as “Best Radio Station,” and its seventh win in the past 14 years. Likewise, Ted & Amy continue their amazing winning streak, following last year’s win as Syracuse’s Favorite Radio Personalities. The popular on-air duo has won that category more than 20 times in the last 25 years. Robbins said, “Ted and I are so thankful for the support of our listeners and advertisers, and for the entire staff at Cumulus Syracuse!”

Cumulus Media Syracuse also received four other nominations in that prestigious “Best of Syracuse” poll — Scott Dixon, afternoon host on WAQX (95X) and Dave Frisina, afternoon guy on WXTL (105.9 The Rebel) were both finalists for “Favorite Radio Personality,” while 95X was also nominated for Favorite Radio Station, and the 95X Locals Only Fest competed in the Favorite Local Music Festival category. VP/Market Manager Beth Coughlin remarked, “We thank our listeners and everyone who voted for both 93Q and Ted & Amy, helping them win top spot in their categories again this year. Cumulus Syracuse is very proud of our six nominations, and to be recognized with such exceptional broadcast professionals, stations and events in Central New York.” Pictured here with their major award, (l-r): OM Tom Mitchell, midday personality Jack Ryan, APD/MD/afternoon talent Rick Roberts and Ted Long and Amy Robbins.
