Saga Shrinkage In Columbus

• Saga’s Columbus Radio Group in Columbus, OH — AC WSNY (Sunny 95), Hot AC WVMX (Mix 107.9), Classic Rock WLVQ (Qfm96), and Classic Hits simulcast WNND/WNNP (Rewind 103.5/104.3) — has undergone some extensive restructuring, resulting in the departure of six longtime employees, including Dino Tripodis and Stacy McKay, the heritage hosts of Sunny This Morning on Sunny 95.

Tripodis notably spent 24 years with Sunny until June 2018, returning in July 2021, reuniting with McKay, who originally sat across from him from 1994 to 2007 and again from 2010 until his 2018 departure.

According to 614now.com, News Director Clark Donley, a 31-year cluster veteran, and producer Greg Hansberry have also exited. Hansberry served as a producer from 2012-2014, and again from 2016 until now.

Also out: “Miss Lisa” Bryant, who doubled as afternoon talent on Sunny 95, and morning show host on Rewind 103.5/104.3, and “Andre Styles” Friederich, the Events Director and morning host at Mix 107.9, a 14-year station vet.

• Meanwhile, a sweeper overheard yesterday on Sunny 95 is touting “Something brighter is coming to Sunny 95… details soon!”
