R U Ready 4 ALTer EGO?
iHeartMedia just added another signature concert event to its growing collection with the announcement of the first-ever iHeartRadio ALTer EGO. Some of the biggest names in Alternative Rock — Mumford & Sons, Cage The Elephant, Beck, Spoon, Walk The Moon, The National and Dashboard Confessional and others will perform at the “Fabulous” Forum in Los Angeles on January 19, 2018.
“We’re extremely excited to add iHeartRadio ALTer EGO to our amazing lineup of world-class iHeartRadio events,” said Tom Poleman, Chief Programming Officer for iHeartMedia. “We’ve seen the incredible response from fans every time our alternative rock performers hit the stage at our legendary iHeartRadio Music Festival and know that listeners across the country have waited for an event like this for some time now. It’s going to be an incredible night.” Poleman the handed the mic to John Sykes, President of Entertainment Enterprises for iHeartMedia, who added, “Alternative rock is experiencing an incredible renaissance. Young bands in their ’20s are making music with the same energy and power of the bands like U2, Depeche Mode and REM, that helped to create the format.”
Beginning December 26, iHeartRadio will kick off a nationwide promotion across more than 75 Alternative and Rock stations to give fans the opportunity to win a trip to Los Angeles to attend iHeartRadio ALTer EGO. The show will also be broadcast live across over 60 iHeartMedia Alternative and Rock stations.
Listeners will have access to a limited number of tickets to iHeartRadio ALTer EGO through ALT 98-7/Los Angeles‘ The LIST Pre-Sale beginning today at 10am PT and running through Friday, October 20 at 10am PT or while supplies last. Tickets hit the general public this Friday at 1pm PT via iHeartRadio.com/alterego.
