WBMX Moving To Chicago

• Relax… it’s only the call letters… Entercom announced that the WBMX call letters that had been attached to Hot AC Mix 104.1 (and earlier, Mix 98.5)/Boston for the past 26 years are being shipped back to Chicago, replacing WJMK, which on Nov. 17 flipped to Classic Hop as 104.3 Jams. The now former WBMX will henceforth carry the equally “Mixy” WWBX-FM calls. Please note that this call letter change does NOT affect the station’s programming or staff, which remain blissfully unaffected.
