Jack Diamond: The Amazing Ace

On this very special day, I wanted to take this opportunity to say Happy Birthday to a very dear friend — the person who gave me my first fulltime radio gig — Jack Diamond, D.C. radio icon and the host of The Jack Diamond Morning Show on Cumulus Hot AC WRQX (Mix 107.3)/Washington.

This week, Jack’s guests included Phil Keoghan, host of CBS-TV’s long-running The Amazing Race. “Phil was here to talk about this season of The Amazing Race and his great new movie, Le Ride, where he recreated the 1928 Tour de France — over 3,300 miles on a steel bicycle with NO GEARS!
