Many Bridges Yet To Cross…

Robby Bridges and Rochelle Gagnon, the married morning team based at Macdonald Garber Broadcasting’s heritage Top 40 WKHQ/Traverse City, MI have announced their imminent departure for an exciting new adventure TBA.

Bridges will also be vacating his role as WKHQ PD/morning host and VP of Programming for Macdonald Garber Broadcasting, and Gagnon will step down as morning co-host and Director of Promotions and Marketing. After 352 episodes, the duo’s final broadcast in Michigan will be Wednesday, Sept. 22. The show is also heard weekends in Pennsylvania and Connecticut.

Robby & Rochelle arrived in TVC in March 2020 after Bridges’ OM stint with Townsquare Media’s Portsmouth, NH cluster. He previously spent 11 years with Cumulus Media and Westwood One, the last two as Director of FM Programming for Hot AC WDVD, Country WDRQ and Classic Country NASH Icon 93.1-HD2/Detroit. Bridges earlier programmed sister WEBE 108/Bridgeport, CT and WFAS-FM/Westchester, NY and continues to guest-host on Scott Shannon‘s syndicated True Oldies Channel.

Bridges said, “We’d like to thank Trish Garber and Gary Berkowitz for putting together this opportunity for us. We are really proud of two years in TC and proud of our terrific team but are really excited for what’s around the bend.” The Rhode Island-born Bridges added, “There’s definitely lots more fresh seafood and homemade marinara sauce in our future, so stay tuned!”
