Carton Back Behind The Mic

• After nearly five months off the air, former longtime WFAN/New York morning co-host Craig Carton made his media return this week via his new project on twitch — the aptly named Craig Carton Live debuted last week, and Carton’s inaugural broadcast featured an exclusive one-hour appearance by Crush Music’s platinum recording artist, MAX (left). While toweling off after his maiden voyage, an elated Carton (right) commented, “It feels great to be back behind the microphone and delivering special content to a nationwide audience.”

MAX remarked, “Craig has always been one of my favorite sports radio jocks. He was one of the first guys to have me on his radio show in 2016. When he asked me to be on his debut show on Twitch.TV, we were happy to be a part of it. We’re both diehard New York Knicks fans and he’s just a great and lovely guy!”

Craig Carton Live promises to be the foundation of a larger media presence, as Carton explains, “Twitch has asked me to build out a full day of programming, and over the next few months I look forward to working with some amazingly creative people and releasing compelling and unique shows.” Carton says there are plans for a couple of game shows, one-on-one interviews, live performances, competitive gaming, sports and lots more. You can see the first announced release called The Top 8 at 9, Monday through Thursday at twitch.tv/craigcartonlive.
