Pleshe Joins Monument Records

RAMP has confirmed that Steve Pleshe, who recently resigned as PD of Cumulus Country KSKS (93.7 Kiss Country)/Fresno has formally joined Monument Records as Director of Regional Promotion. He will remain based in Fresno and joins the growing team headed by fellow radio vet Drew Bland, who last month left the PD post at Entercom Country KKWF (100.7 The Wolf)/Seattle and joined Monument as VP of Promotion.

“Steve is going to be the perfect addition to the Monument Records promotion team,” said Bland. “Someone with his proven track record, knowledge of radio and enthusiastic service minded attitude is going to be a great fit for our radio station partners and artists.”

Born in Orange, CA, Pleshe moved to Fresno in 1985 to attend Fresno State University — and never left. He began his radio career as a part-timer at Kiss Country in the early ’90s and worked his way up to PD in the summer of 2004. Five years later, Pleshe transitioned over to the label side, working at RCA, Streamsound and more recently, was Director of West Coast Promotion at Black River Entertainment. In May 2017 Pleshe returned to KSKS as Program Director, succeeding the late Darrin Arriens, who had moved to Charlotte.

Pleshe can be congratulated at Steve.Pleshe@sonymusic.com.
