If it’s a day that ends in “y,” you can safely bet that OM/PD Marc Summers is up to something interesting at Magic Broadcasting II in Panama City Beach, FL… oh look… here he is now, bearing two exciting bits of personnel news: 1) Melissa Miller has joined the company in a dual role — morning co-host (with recently hired Jordan Zeh) on Active Rock WYYX (97X) and solo afternoon talent on Country Legends WWLY (Wild Willie 100.1). 2): Across the hall at Top 40 WILN (Island 106), Midday Meghan adds MD stripes.

Ms. Miller (left) spent the past nine years across the street with Powell Broadcasting, doing mornings (with Jordan Zeh) at WPFM (Hot 107.9) and middays on WKNK (Kick’n Country 103.5). Before moving back to her hometown, Miller worked at WKHX, WKCN and WWWQ (Q100)/Atlanta. Miller said, “I am absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Magic Broadcasting II, a company that has already shown more excitement and support than I could have ever hoped for. I have been stalking this station since it first signed on! Listening to Wild Willie is like taking a trip down memory lane and it taps into what made me fall in love with Country music years ago. I love the artists, the feel of the music and the stories that go along with it all! I’m beyond excited about this adventure!”

Newly minted MD Midday Meghan (right) remarked, “Growing up, music was always a common interest me and my family had. Between listening to the classics with my Grandpa, learning Rock music with my Mom, and then me getting my own interest in Top 40 music as a kid. There was never a day when music wasn’t being played at my house, so to be promoted to Music Director means a whole lot to me! I’m so happy that my PD, Marc Summers and my GM, Misty Sims, have recognized what a big love I have for music. It’s important to me that our listeners feel the music, hear the message and enjoy it, just like I have all of my life. I’m excited to take on this new role so early in my radio career, and can’t wait to see what else the future brings!”
