Cleveland Is Waiting For You… And You
• Last Friday we shared the big announcement from iHeartMedia Cleveland regarding “Java Joel” Murphy‘s promotion to PD of Top 40 WAKS (96.5 Kiss FM) and Keith Abrams taking on PD duties for Active Rock WMMS, in addition to his regular responsibilities as Regional SVP of Programming/North Ohio Region. Now, more good news — all of this movement has resulted in the creation of two new fulltime positions:
1) Kiss FM seeks a 7-12 personality. Candidates should live the lifestyle of the format and have a desire to make a difference in the lives of Kiss listeners. They should possess strong production, public and social media skills, in addition to helping our clients achieve their goals. 2) An Assistant Program Director for WMMS & Alternative 99X (WMMS HD2). This person should be highly organized and possess a strong, successful programming background. NexGen and Selector experience is preferred. Strong digital/social skills and imaging skills are important and additional responsibilities may exist for the right candidate.
