‘Helloooo, Neumann…’
We teased this development fairly heavily a few days ago, and we are pleased to report that the press release finally dropped, officially naming Bob Neumann as the new SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia’s group in Savannah, GA/Hilton Head, SC. “You can’t help but be impressed with Bob’s track record over his entire career,” said LJ Smith, Regional SVP of Programming. “We’re looking forward to him using that experience to continue our ratings success in Savannah.”
Neumann most recently programmed CBS Radio Hot AC PD KHMX (Mix 96.5)/Houston until May 2015. His previous programming stops include CBS Radio’s former WSJT (Play 98.7)/Tampa, WWDC (DC101)/Washington, WMMS/Cleveland, WLVQ/Columbus and six years at WRMF/West Palm Beach. No stranger to the beautiful Hilton Head area, earlier in his career Neumann enjoyed what he fondly refers to as a four-year “staycation” as OM of Adventure Radio’s Hilton Head cluster and PD of Triple A WWVV. ”
“I’m excited to continue the winning programming tradition at iHeartMedia Savannah/Hilton Head,” said Neumann. “To work with amazing talent and radio station brands is a great opportunity and I can’t wait to get started.”
