Valliere Sporting Stripes @ Z102.9

• Congrats to Jenny Valliere, afternoon personality on KZIA, Inc. Top 40 KZIA (Z102.9)/Cedar Rapids, IA on her well deserved promotion to Assistant Program Director and Music Director. Ms. Valliere is a Cedar Rapids native who has been with Z102.9 since 2012. She started in overnights and was promoted to afternoons two years later. Oh, and in October of 2017, Valliere was crowned Miss Iowa USA and recently competed in the national Miss USA competition.

“Jenny is a star. She leads by example,” says Chris Jackson, VP of Programming for KZIA, Inc. “She’s passionate, energetic and one of the hardest working people in radio I’ve ever met. It’s not every day you see your afternoon drive personality try to juggle both her radio career and her duties as Miss Iowa USA. She did both without dropping a single ball!” Valliere commented, “I’m honored and thrilled to take on these new roles with Z102.9. I couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing teachers I have had since my summer internship here six years ago.”
