Manente Named VP/MM, Midwest Evansville
• Midwest Communications, Inc. has promoted Nick Manente to Vice President & Market Manager of its Evansville, IN market, succeeding Tim Huelsing, who retired recently after a 23-year run in Evansville.
In making the announcement, Midwest President Peter Tanz said, “Nick Manente’s dedication to the Evansville region, his experience, and his leadership make him the best choice to lead these legendary radio stations.”
A graduate of the University of Southern Indiana, Manente began his broadcast career in Evansville in 2008 with South Central Media and remained with the company after its 2014 acquisition by Midwest Communication. After two years leading sales at Two Ladders Consulting, Manente returned to Midwest in 2024 as General Sales Manager to drive broadcast and digital advertising growth.
“Evansville is home, and I’ve been fortunate to spend the better part of my career building relationships with the people and businesses that make this community special,” Manente said. “One thing I’ve learned over the years is that our success has always been tied to the success of the communities we serve.” He added, “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to lead a company that has meant so much to me personally and professionally. The way people consume media will continue to change, but our commitment to this community won’t. There’s a lot of opportunity ahead of us, and I’m excited to be part of what comes next.”
