USRN Launches ‘The Sandy Show’
• United Stations Radio Networks Inc. (USRN) announced the launch of The Sandy Show, which will be distributed to radio stations across America. The weekday show is anchored by Sandy McIlree, best known as half of The JB and Sandy Show, which aired for 17 years on KAMX (Mix 94.7)/Austin. He is joined on the show by his wife, Tricia (right), and her best friend, Autumn Boukadakis (left), a former JB & Sandy sidekick.
“The Sandy Show is unlike any other programming on the network radio landscape,” said Andy Denemark, USRN EVP of Programming. “It’s fun without being sophomoric, contemporary without being overly edgy, and it meshes well with a variety of formats, including Classic Hits, AC, Hot AC and Country. Plus, it offers the perspectives of two insightful female personalities at a time when women want to hear from other women that they find relatable.”
McIlree said, “Andy, Stefan Jones and the whole team at United Stations have been extremely supportive of our vision for the show. We’re excited to bring The Sandy Show to radio audiences in their homes and cars, and on their smart speakers.” The Sandy Show will be delivered via FTP using USRN-secured servers, and announcements regarding initial affiliates will be coming soon.
