Remembering Harve Alan

• We keep losing great people… we were deeply saddened yesterday to hear that longtime programmer and consultant Harve Alan died on Sunday, January 6 in Los Angeles, reportedly due to heart-related issues.

For the past few years Alan had operated his own consultancy, Harve Alan Media and previously worked as a consultant for DeMers Programming. His lengthy programming career also included stints as Regional Director of Ops at Metro Networks, VP of Programming at NextMedia, EVP of Mercury Radio Research, Director of Programming at ABC Radio Networks and SVP of Programming at iHeartMedia. His notable PD stops included WONE/Dayton, Z93/Atlanta, WAAF/Boston and WCCC/Hartford.

Needless to say, Harve’s numerous friends and colleagues have been gathering on his Facebook page to share their thoughts and remembrances of a very talented man.
