Why Are These Folks All Smiley?

• Because they did it again! Congrats to The Smiley Morning Show on Entercom Top 40 WZPL/Indianapolis — we are told that not only has 2017 been the show’s biggest ratings year ever, but they once again set a new record for the annual Make A Wish Request-a-Thon. According to OM JR Ammons, in just 36 short hours, the show helped raise $706,145 and granted wishes to 88 kids in Central Indiana who have life-threatening illnesses.

As Ammons told RAMP, “For 363 days a year, they tell fart jokes and offend just about anyone with more than three brain cells… but for these two magical days, with the help of their very passionate following, The Smiley Show makes an incredible impact in the community. It’s really a testament to the show — to raise this amount of money in such a short period of time, in a city the size of Indianapolis is an amazing feat. I couldn’t be any more proud to be associated with these guys.”

Pictured, (l-r): Nikki, Dave Smiley, Producer Will and Toni will celebrate their amazing achievement in style tomorrow night, along with The Chainsmokers, Backstreet Boys and Zedd and 13,000 listeners at ZPL’s sold-out Jingle Jam concert.
