Cuny Named SVP/Video At Capitol
• Emmanuelle Cuny has been named Senior Vice President of Video Production for Capitol Music Group (CMG). In her new role, Cuny will facilitate and oversee the production of music videos and other visual content for CMG artists spanning the company’s portfolio of labels and is based at the famously cylindrical Capitol Tower in Hollywood.
CMG Chairman & CEO Steve Barnett said, “Emmanuelle is a true champion of artists who has earned her reputation as a trusted creative advisor and collaborator. She has tremendous energy and spirit to complement her wealth of experience, and I couldn’t be happier that Emmanuelle has made the move to the west coast to join us here in the Tower.”

Cuny is a New York native who joins CMG after 11 years with Atlantic Records, where she creatively and financially oversaw a diverse array of impactful videos, such as Wiz Khalifa‘s “See You Again” [feat. Charlie Puth] from Furious 7; all of Cardi B‘s 2018 videos, including her collaboration with Bad Bunny & J Balvin, “I Like It;” Lil Uzi Vert‘s “XO Tour Llif3,” Young Thug‘s “Wyclef Jean,” and many more. Prior to joining Atlantic in 2008, Cuny was video commissioner for the entire label roster at Roc-A-Fella Records.
